What do you need from me to start?
A rough scope, pages or screens, what's dynamic, and any integrations. Designs if they exist, or a couple of reference sites if they don't. If there's an existing codebase, read access to the repo.
How do you price?
Fixed price per project once scope is agreed, so you know the number before I start. Ongoing work is billed monthly. Audits and smaller fixes can be hourly if the size isn't clear yet.
Do you design as well as build?
I design and build straightforward sites myself. For anything with a strong brand or complex product UI, I'd rather build from a designer's files, the result is better and it usually costs you less.
Can you take over an existing codebase?
Often, yes. I start with a paid audit: what's there, what's costing you performance, and what it would take to fix versus rebuild. You get that written up whether or not you continue with me.
Do you offer maintenance after launch?
Yes, a monthly retainer covering dependency updates, small changes, and monitoring. It's optional the handover docs are written so your own team can take it from launch day if you'd rather.
